It would seem that supplemental information that takes the student past the basics provided in the lecture would provide a richer basis for reflection and dialog. Especially if our goal is to more deeply engage the student with the concepts in the course. How might one structure a podcast for maximum instructional impact? <a href=\"http:\/\/edweb.sdsu.edu\/courses\/edtec700\/POD\/podcasting1.pdf\">Bernie Dodge proposed the use of Keller\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ARCS model<\/a> (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) as a structure for effective instructional podcasts. This got me thinking, and I started experimenting with ARCS and other instructional models. What I ended up with is a somewhat crude mapping of Gagne\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 9 Instructional Events to the ARCS model, as seen below. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.podagogy.com\/?p=97\">Quelle<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.podagogy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/05\/model_matrix2.gif\" \/>Die Aufbereitung eines Podcasts muss mehr sein als das blosse &quot;nebenbei&quot; Aufzeichnen einer Vorlesung. Aber neben der Erstellung ist auch das didaktische Setting des Einsatzes von Podcasts im Unterricht wichtig.
